The men’s bowling team took first place as it hosted five other teams at the Hudson Valley Invitational at Hilltop Bowl on Jan. 27. The women finished second place, falling just behind Mohawk Valley Community College.
The high roller for the men was Dan DeRizzo (Guilderland/Altamont), with a 265-737, and for the women, Nicole Sheldon (Columbia/East Greenbush), who rolled a 234-599 series.
The men’s team improves its conference record to 10-0, while the women’s team is 2-2.
The next conference match for both teams is Wednesday, Feb. 2 at Ft. Edward Lanes at 3 p.m.
