Write All Night is Wednesday, Apr. 13

Mondays child is fair of face,

Tuesdays child is full of grace,

Wednesdays child is full of woe,

So to The Writing Center she will go.

As the spring semester winds to a close, the due dates for many research papers begin to appear on the calendar. Fortunately for students who may need help on those papers, extra assistance will be available during “Write All Night” on Wednesday, Apr. 13.

On that night, the Marvin Library will be open for an additional two hours – from 10 p.m. to midnight – and writing assistance will be provided in the Computer Learning Center on the lower level.

“Write All Night” is a special program sponsored by The Learning Centers once each semester to give students an extra opportunity to get help on their term papers or other writing assignments. Writing specialists will be available to answer questions and provide general-news feedback.

In the past, for instance, some students have used this special session to properly cite their research sources using MLA or APA documentation, while others have used the opportunity to straighten out problems in verb tense, point of view or subject-verb agreement.

In addition to the intellectual assistance, “Write All Night” offers physical nourishment: snacks and munchies will be provided.
