The men’s lacrosse team (4-5) rallied in the fourth quarter to defeat Finger Lakes Community College (2-6), 13-10, on Wednesday afternoon. The Vikings trailed 9-7 going into the fourth quarter, but Hudson Valley struck back with six consecutive goals which led to a three-goal victory.
Mason Agosto (Cary-Grove/Cary, IL) and James Bryant (White Plains/White Plains) led the way for the Vikings, each scoring four goals. Ryan Polak (Ridgewood (NJ)/Cincinnati) contributed three goals and David Klapp (Saratoga Springs/Green Field) and Eric Plant (Guilderland/Guilderland) chipped one goal apiece. Paul Nicsevic Jr. (Colonie/Colonie) and Geoff Ulmer (Albany Academy/Albany) split time in goal coming up with 21 total saves in the win.
The men’s team hosts SUNY Delhi on Friday, April 8 at 4 p.m.
