Kevin McNeelege, retention specialist in the Learning Assistance Center and Testing Office, is a graduate of Leadership Tech Valley 2011, a shared initiative of the Albany-Colonie Regional chamber of Commerce and the Chamber of Schenectady County.
The program provides skill development and community immersion experiences that enable participants to grow personally and professionally as they explore issues and opportunities in the Capital Region.
At a press conference this morning in Albany, Tech Valley Leadership will present a Honda Odyssey minivan to Equinox Inc.’s Youth Services programs. The class of 2011 raised $25,500 to purchase the van, generously provided at dealer cost by Mohawk Honda. Equinox plans to use the van to provide young adults with safe and reliable transportation to appointments, job interviews, field trips and program-related activities.
This year’s leadership class is made up of 40 aspiring business and community leaders who have taken Leadership Tech Valley’s principles to heart.
