Roy Pompey, coordinator of the Collegiate Academic Support Program (CASP), also will be inducted into the Capital District Basketball Hall of Fame during ceremonies scheduled for Sunday, June 26 at the Crowne Plaza in Albany.
Pompey was a member of the Troy High School basketball team that was undefeated in 1965. Pompey and Coach Clem Zotto will be inducted with the remaining members of the team: Jerry Guter, Perry Ashley, Bob Wood, Rosie Phillips, Hubert Terry, Luther Rackley, Artie Wilson, Neil Dembo, Ken Holmstead and Joe Cohen.
Monday’s Campus Chronicle contained news that Athletic Director Kristan Pelletier will be inducted into the Basketball Hall of Fame.
