Workforce Development Offers National Electric Code (NEC) 2008 Update Course

The College’s Workforce Development Institute (WDI), is offering a 15-hour NEC 2008 update course for electricians who wish to bring their skills up-to-date.

The NEC 2008 Update course will cover:

–Changes affecting the scope of the NEC

–Changes to the general-news requirements for electrical installations

–Changes to the wiring and protection requirements

–Changes affecting wiring methods and materials

–Changes affecting the use of equipment for general-news use

–Changes affecting selected hazardous locations, agricultural buildings, mobile homes, swimming pools and emergency generators
