Beginning today, the Campus Chronicle will be offered in a new format that utilizes the WordPress platform.
This new platform will allow Chronicle users a greater range of tools and options, including the ability to easily embed media such as photographs and video into their Chronicle submissions. Photos can even be captioned.
The WYSIWYG tool bar that accompanies the new Campus Chronicle article submission form also will allow you to more easily incorporate hot links, format text (add bold, italics, bulleted lists, etc.), and spell check your submission.
Finally, the new Chronicle will allow for comments on individual posts, adding to the interactivity of the e-newsletter.
Please note that the address for the new Campus Chronicle will be “chronicle.hvcc.edu.” The web address for the Chronicle is currently “newsletter.hvcc.edu.” This may be helpful for those who bookmark the site.
