Marvin Library now has 10 iPads available for three-hour loan to current students and employees. Use of the loaned iPads is restricted to designated areas of the Marvin Library.
The new service promotes the use of emerging mobile technologies and information delivery platforms to access online resources for learning and research. A group representing the Library, Learning Centers, IMC, ITS, DL, and academic departments is working together to identify apps that are suited for learning activities and college curricula. Students, faculty and staff may recommend apps for the common iPad interface using the online recommendation form at http://library.hvcc.edu/app-request.
