The women’s tennis team (1-4) fell to SUNY Delhi (1-1) 6-3 on Tuesday afternoon.
Holly Fletcher (Catholic Central/Waterford) defeated her opponent (6-2, 6-1) in second singles action, making it her second consecutive win. Nicole Cassidy (Maple Hill/Castleton) battled back to win in third singles action (2-6, 6-3, 6-3) for her first win of the season. Cassidy also teamed up with Chelsea Antanasio (Columbia/Rensselaer) in second doubles winning (8-2).
The women host Mohawk Valley Community College to end their regular season on Saturday at 1 p.m.
