Men’s Cross Country Finishes First at Green Mountain, Women Place Second

 

The men’s cross country team took first place and the women took second at the Green Mountain Invitational on Saturday afternoon.

Eric Young (Shaker/Latham) won the men’s overall race with a time of 27:20. Adam Coolong (Saratoga Springs/Ballston Spa) finished closely behind Young in third place (28:24) and Nathan Clements (Mechanicville/Mechanicville) finished in 10th place (29:55). Hilary Crannage (Polytech/Alleghany) had her best finish on the year placing second with a time of 22:09 and Amanda Slyer (Averill Park/Troy) finished 11th with a time of 24:02.

Both Cross Country teams travel to the conference meet at Herkimer County Community College Saturday, Oct. 22 at 10 a.m.
