The men’s basketball team (1-1) lost a tough fought game to Fulton-Montgomery Community College (2-0), 98-85, on Thursday evening.
The Vikings jumped out to a 10-0 lead to start the game, but trailed at the half, 45-44. The game was tied with five minutes to go, but then Fulton-Montgomery took the lead and never gave it back. Conor Maish (Coleman Catholic/Kingston) had 18 points, seven rebounds and five assists while Jeremy Taylor (Catskill/Catskill) had a team-high 23 points.
The Vikings host their first game of the season this Sunday against Corning Community College at 3 p.m.
