The Hudson Valley Community College men’s basketball team (2-1) defeated Corning Community College (0-2), 87-60, on Sunday afternoon.
The Vikings only led by five at halftime behind Conor Maish (Coleman Catholic/Kingston) who had five three-pointers and 17 points in the first half. Hudson Valley blew the game open in the second half routing Corning 87-60. Conor Maish finished the game with a double-double, recording 22 points and 11 rebounds. Jeremy Taylor (Catskill/Catskill) recorded 13 second half points to finish the game with 16 and Matt Walker (Benjamin Banneker/Brooklyn) added 13 points and seven assists.
The Vikings travel to North Country Community College on Thursday, Nov. 10 at 7 p.m.
