Nick Gilbo (Moriah Central/Port Henry) and Nick Pedrotti (West Genesee/Syracuse), freshman linebacker and sophomore offensive lineman, respectively, on the football team, were selected to the Northeast Football Conference First-Team.
Gilbo was tied for second in the conference, averaging 9.0 tackles per game and finishing with 72 total tackles. He also led the Vikings with five sacks on the year. Pedrotti helped anchor the offensive line, playing in all eight games this season.
Earning Second-Team honors for the Vikings were Matt Fallico (Fayetteville-Manlius/Syracuse), sophomore linebacker; Trey Garvey (Woodbridge/Woodbridge, VA), sophomore safety; Dexter Green (N. Myrtle Beach (SC)/Syracuse), sophomore wide receiver, and Josh Gross (Old Mill/Glen Burnie, MD ), freshman tight end.
Fallico finished seventh in the conference with 7.2 tackles per game, and recorded two sacks and one forced fumble. Garvey finished the season with 36 tackles, one interception and one fumble recovered. Leading the team in all-purpose yardage and finishing fourth in the conference was wide receiver and kick return specialist Green. Green averaged 110.8 all-purpose yards each game and 18.4 yards in the kick return game. Gross led the team in receiving yards and finished third in the conference with 49.0 yards per game. He also had a team-high three receiving touchdowns on the year.
Mackenzie Elliot (Edgewood/Monrovia, Liberia), sophomore cornerback; Connor Hadcock (Burnt Hills/Burnt Hills), sophomore linebacker, and Darryl Haley (Woodbridge/Woodbridge , VA), sophomore safety, all earned Third-Team All-Conference honors.
