It is that time of year again when the Human Services Club takes on one of its most important activities. For the past 15 years, the club has adopted the families of our students within the campus community who are in need of assistance. Last year, we adopted 18 families and provided gifts for more than 50 children, in part because of the spirit of giving on our campus.
In past years, we have been extremely fortunate to receive donations and support from faculty and staff. We are once again reaching out to the campus community to help make this holiday season a joyous one for the 15 families that will be adopted. We are always in need of wrapping paper, bows, batteries and other gift packaging items. If you are interested in adopting a child or a family, please contact: Maryanne Pepe, Maria Markovics or Loretta Blitstein in the Human Services Department.
Your generosity in past years has truly allowed us to uphold our club’s tradition and philosophy of helping those in need. We thank you and wish everyone a Happy Holiday Season!
