The prospect of having a family dental plan in place for the 2012 year is contingent upon achievement of 130 enrolled families for a mandatory two-year period. In other words, for the program to be implemented in January 2012, we need 130 contracts for both the 2012 and 2013 years. The cost will be $51.00 per month to the enrolled employee.
Those eligible for the plan are those employees already eligible for the individual dental plan provided by the College, and the benefits will be the same for family members as those for individuals. Please remember that one must enroll during our December open period for the two-year commitment. This plan may be more or less effective than utilizing the flex spending plan depending on your family needs over the next two years.
