Dr. Carol Bosco, department chairman in the Nursing Program, is one of three new members on the Girl Scouts of Northeastern New York Board of Directors. The appointment was announced by Kerry Connolly, Girl Scouts’ CEO.
The board consists of 15 members, who are elected to an initial two-year term. Girl Scouts of Northeastern New York serves 11,000 girls and 5,000 volunteers throughout 15 counties: Albany, Schenectady, Rensselaer, Saratoga, Columbia, Greene, Schoharie, Montgomery, Fulton, Washington, Warren, Hamilton, Essex, Franklin & Clinton. Offices are located in Albany, Halfmoon, Queensbury and Plattsburgh.
Girls Scouts is celebrating 100 years in 2012.
