A Survey With Benefits to Many
As the Instructional Resources Committee (IRC) evaluates its charge in an effort to refine/define our mission-goals-objectives, we are advocating supporting the many adjunct faculty on our campus. To that end, we ask all teaching faculty to think back to the first time you stepped up to the podium of a campus classroom.
What were your greatest concerns or things you wished you had known before meeting students in your classroom for the first time? Your willingness to share those issues will not only provide the feedback we are seeking to support our adjuncts, but should prove quite useful to both the NFO (New Faculty Orientation) and FWD (Faculty Workshop Day) planning efforts as well.
