The Blackboard Learning Management System Advisory Committee membership is comprised of online faculty, department chairs, college administrators and Distance and Online Learning staff.
The committee currently seeks two new faculty members. The only criteria is to have been teaching online for a few semesters.
The Blackboard LMS mission statement:
To provide leadership from experienced online faculty to the Hudson Valley Community College’s Distance and Online Learning Center with respect to:
- Configuring and deploying the campus’ Learning Management System
- Recommending relevant policies and procedures
- Maximizing the pedagogical effectiveness of the school’s online teaching and learning environment
