The men’s basketball team (20-10) lost to Fulton-Montgomery Community College (16-10), 86-66, on Friday evening in the opening round of the Region III Tournament.
The Vikings fell behind by 19 points and cut the lead to eight, but the deficit was too much to overcome. Conor Maisch (Coleman Catholic/Kingston) led the team with 13 points and Anthony Metzold (Schalmont/Schenectady) came off the bench and chipped in 12.
The Vikings finish the season with a 20-10 record.
