Lecture: Native Species in the Garden

 

Hear about beautiful native species you can use in your garden and their benefits to you and the environment.

David Chinery of the Rensselaer County Cornell Cooperative Extension will talk about selection, planting and care of native species in the garden. Native species have many benefits for you, the environment and wildlife.

The presentation will be held in Campus Center room 150, from noon to 1 p.m. on Wednesday Apr. 20 as part of the HVCC Earth Day celebration.

There will be a limited number of native trees and shrubs to giveaway — first come, first served!
