John Heiser, the college’s director of graphic design and printing services, will be inducted into the SUNYCUAD Hall of Fame when the state-wide organization gathers for its annual meeting this summer in Syracuse.
SUNYCUAD, the SUNY Council for University Affairs and Development, represents all professionals employed in a cross-section of institutional advancement areas at every State University campus, including public relations and advancement professionals responsible for a wide gamut of specialties, from publications and web page maintenance to alumni relations, marketing and development.
Heiser served two terms on the SUNYCUAD board of directors, and was the logistics chairperson for the 2011 annual conference held in Saratoga. He was also heavily involved in numerous other SUNYCUAD conferences and spearheaded other major projects while on the SUNYCUAD board.
Also being inducted into the hall of fame this year is Stacey Hengsterman, SUNY’s assistant vice chancellor for government relations.
John is the first Hudson Valley Community College staff member to be named to the SUNYCUAD Hall of Fame. Congratulations, John!
