Restorative Justice Symposium Today

 

Please join the Department of Criminal Justice, Forensic Science and Public Administration for a Restorative Justice Symposium from 6 to 9 p.m. today in the BTC Auditorium. The evening will include an opening address, panelists experienced in the restorative justice process – a victim, an offender, a community accountability member and a judge – with an opportunity for dialogue between participants and guests.

The speakers include:

David R. Karp, Ph.D., Associate Dean of Student Affairs and Professor of Sociology, Skidmore College

The Honorable Thomas Keefe, Albany City Court Judge

Julia Long, Former Policy Analyst for NYS Senate Crime and Corrections Committee,JD Candidate

Jamel Muhammad, Project SNUG Supervisor, Trinity Alliance
