FERPA Guidelines and Policies

Under the Federal Family Educational Rights and Privacy Act (FERPA) of 1974, disclosure of information from a student-s education records is strictly limited and all colleges must have policies in place to comply with this law. College Registrar Kathy Petley will provide employees with specific information about what they can and cannot say/do in accordance with FERPA regulations here on campus.

This course will examine techniques to open discussions with students who seem to lack a career focus, campus resources for career exploration and advising materials that stimulate students to establish connections between their interests, skills, educational plans and careers.

Learn how to post links to articles from library research databases directly into Blackboard. It-s easy once you learn the proper format. Learn how in a few simple steps. Articles from Academic Search Complete, JSTOR, and other popular research databases will be demonstrated.
