Earth Day activities, sponsored by the Sustainability Committee, take place from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. in the Siek Campus Center and Bulmer Telecommunications Center, as well as outside Hudson Hall.
Proceeds from the sale of Earth Day T-shirts will be given to support the campus food pantry. Old cell phones will be collected by the E-Cycle Drop Off table in support of domestic violence victim.
Please help the Earth Day Committee in helping others!
Other activities include environmental movies, a lecture on native landscaping techniques, a seed and plant exchange, tours of the college-s cogeneration plant, a bird and wildflower walk, eco-friendly vendors, acoustic guitar music by Caleb Bauscher, garden soil testing and solar oven cooking demonstrations. There will also be craft projects and a scavenger hunt for children participating in the “Take Your Child to Work Day” event.
