HVCC again voted “best two-year college”

For the fourth year in a row, participants in the Times Union‘s readers’ poll voted Hudson Valley Community College as the region’s best two-year college.

More than 14,000 people cast votes in the annual survey. Here’s how the newspaper’s staff summed it up:

1. Hudson Valley Community College
2. Schenectady County Community College
3. SUNY Adirondack

Why? It’s hard to compete with the region’s largest community college, boasting some 11,000 students every fall and spring term. Not to mention HVCC’s expansion into Malta with its new TEC-SMART (Training and Education Center for Semiconductor Manufacturing and Alternative and Renewable Technologies) campus.
