Update: Marvin Library entrance changes

Hello everyone,

To the faculty & staff with offices in the faculty wing.

For the convenience of faculty and staff with office in the faculty wing of Marvin Library, a temporary phone has been installed just outside the faculty wing entrance for campus calls only.

On the evenings that the doors are secured early, the phone can be used to dial in to the offices inside. For office hours, please make sure your students know your office phone number, so they may dial in. You’ll have to respond to the entrance to allow them access.

Again, thank you for your patience.

As of June 20, the main entrance to Marvin Library has been closed for the renovation project and all access to the building is through the faculty office wing. Those heading continue through the first floor fire doors at the end of the hall. Follow the signs.

Also be advised, if the RED fire doors to the library main side are closed, DO NOT open them, an alarm will sound.

The temporary telephone is needed since the faculty entrance doors follow the Marvin library hours of operation. This means the faculty entrance is locked at 4 p.m. on Mondays, Tuesdays and Fridays. The entrance is secured at 10 p.m. on Wednesday and Thursdays. The faculty entrance doors are opened by 6:45 a.m. Monday through Friday.

Any questions please call Public Safety, ext. 7210. Thank you for your continued patience.
