We have identified an exporting/importing issue with the Voice Authoring tool of the Bb Collaborate (formerly Wimba) suite of voice tools. After completing an import, the Voice Authoring tool content no longer plays.
The Voice Authoring tool allows you to create audio recordings that can be listened to right within course materials. There also is a mash-up option that allows you to add audio content right within a text box. This issue does not affect all the other Bb Collaborate Voice Tools (Voice Presentation, Voice Boards, Voice Podcaster).
Current Workaround: Use the Course Copy process. Please contact the Distance and Online Learning Help Desk if you need to have a course copy done for your course.
This issue has been reported to Bb Collaborate and has been escalated. However, we are still waiting for a resolution to the issue.
