Two asbestos abatement projects will take place this week in the Marvin Library.
The first project will begin Wednesday, July 25 in the basement mechanical rooms to remove insulation from water lines and mechanical spaces. This project is expected to be completed by Friday, July 27 and to have no impact to library operations or the Marvin construction project.
A second project will take place this weekend to remove asbestos insulation from a pipe inside of a column in the basement. This abatement project will occur while the library is closed for the weekend and is not expected to have any impact on library operations.
