Combo Guard out of Florida Signs LOI with Vikings

 

The Hudson Valley Community College men’s basketball team brought in another prospect this afternoon, but this time out of the state of Florida.

Brandon Dean, a 6-1 combo guard out of Flagler Palm Coast High in Palm Coast, Florida signed a letter of intent to the Vikings and head coach Ken Dagostino. Dean is the school’s all-time leading scorer with 2,374 career points. He averaged 28.4 points per game and 6.3 assists per game in his senior season. Dean was 1st Team All-State his junior and senior seasons, a three-time District 6A Player of the year, four-time District 6A All-Conference and was named 2010 Scholar-Athlete of the Year in the district. He was recruited by Davidson College, Eastern Tennessee State University, Florida A&M University, Florida Atlantic University, Florida State University, Jacksonville University, Shaw University, University of Central Florida and Wofford College out of high school.

Dean joins a group that was headlined by Section II standouts Sajae Pryor out of Lansingburgh and Jose Reyes out of Shenendehowa.
