I know there are a number of individuals on campus who refer students to the Distance Learning office by email, phone or in person, especially during the first few weeks of the semester. Please note when making these referrals that Sue Gallagher, Director of Distance Learning, is on sabbatical for the Fall 2012 semester.
Although Sue will definitely be missed during the next few months, our remaining DL staff – Linda, Bonnie, Elissa and Mark – will still be assisting students, faculty and staff as they have in the past. Please use the DL help phone line (629-7070) or email (dlhelp@hvcc.edu) when directing students with questions related to online learning. Faculty and staff can use the same phone number and email for assistance as well.
During Sue’s absence Linda Ryder will be working with me to insure that all Distance Learning departmental functions run smoothly. Please feel free to contact me directly or Linda (l.ryder@hvcc.edu) if you have questions or concerns.
