Information Technology Services (ITS) has enacted very aggressive Spam settings to incoming and outgoing e-mail in an effort to fix our e-mail reputation score. Due to the phishing scams that employees have responded to in the last few weeks, our score has plummeted.
ITS will be monitoring queues for issues with these Spam settings, but we also need our users to be vigilant in confirming that legitimate recipients are indeed receiving e-mails you’ve sent them.
In addition, we ask everyone to frequently check their Junk folder. If a legitimate e-mail exists in this folder, please right click on the e-mail and click <Mark as Not Spam>.
Please note that we have exhausted all of the non-aggressive means at our disposal.
