More than 45 elementary teachers and 200 students from 18 school districts across the Capital Region participated in the seminar on nanotechnology. Hudson Valley hosted the event under the sponsorship of its National Science Foundation grant-funded program, the Northeast Advanced Technological Education Center (NEATEC). Other sponsors are the New York State Energy Research and Development Authority (NYSERDA) and two of NEATEC’s sub-awardees: the College of Nanoscale Science and Engineering at the University at Albany and Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute.
