The men’s basketball team (1-1) defeated Corning Community College (0-2), 66-58, on Sunday afternoon.
Hudson Valley started the game out slow and trailed by four going into the half, but a 37 point second half rallied the Vikings past the Red Barons. Jose Reyes (Shenendehowa/Clifton Park) and Jeffrey Kruzinski (Mohonasen/Schenectady) led the team with 14 points each, and Jeremy Taylor (Catskill/Catskill) added 13 points in the eight point victory.
The Vikings host Dutchess on Tuesday, Nov 6 at 6 p.m.
