No Mercy is a mixed-media installation of small-scale sculptures created by Mara Lefebvre, assistant director in the Office of Institutional Services and events.
The 60+ sculptures explore how we treat the animals we eat and represent the suffering of animals every day of the year in industrialized farms.
Hudson Valley Community College recently introduced an Animal Advocacy Certificate, which includes education about animal law and ways to prevent cruelty through public policy. Students learn about the link between cruelty to animals and human violence.
This exhibition highlights the inauguration of the college-s Authors and Artists Collection held by the Marvin Library Archives.
