The women’s bowling team finished second out of four teams at the Hudson Valley Invitational on Tuesday afternoon, finishing with a total of 2801. The men finished in third place out of six teams with a total of 3102. Mohawk Valley won the tournament on the women’s side and Schenectady finished in first on the men’s side.
Megan Rzeszuto (Colonie/Schenectady) led the women’s team with a 580 triple (200-203-177) and Elizabeth Pratt (Lansingburgh/Troy) finished close behind her in games of 155-216-206 for a 577 triple. Jennifer Lynch (Colonie/Utica) turned in a 213-564 set and Chelsea Smith (Hoosic Valley/Melrose) had a 203-542 series.
On the men’s side, Michael Hartmann (Coxsackie-Athens/Earlton) led the men with games of 213-248-264 for a 725 triple. Brendon O’Donnell (Averill Park/Poestenkill) also had a strong showing compiling games of 207-236-198 for a 641 triple.
The men’s and women’s bowling teams were headed to Columbia-Greene Wednesday afternoon for a match.
