Women’s Bowling Finishes Second at Orange & Blue Classic; Men Finish Fifth

 

The women’s bowling team finished second at the Orange & Blue Classic in Wappinger Falls on Saturday afternoon, and the men’s team finished in fifth place.

Megan Rzeszuto (Colonie/Schenectady) had a six-game total of 1061, which led her to a second overall finish for All-Events. She teamed up with Elizabeth Pratt (Lansingburgh/Troy) to capture the Women’s Doubles Championship. Rzeszuto rolled a 180-526 in doubles, and Pratt finished with a 220-534.

Michael Hartmann (Coxsackie-Athens/Earlton) was high bowler for the men, finishing with a six-game score of 1189. Dean Smith (Mechanicville/Waterford) put up his best outing on the year, bowling consistently throughout the day with a 1129 total.

The men’s and women’s bowling teams travel to Ft. Edwards on Wednesday for the Adirondack Invitational at 3 p.m.
