The Hudson Valley Community College Foundation is offering scholarships to students continuing their studies in the 2013-14 academic year.
The application deadline is Friday, Feb. 15, 2013.
Current students must apply using our online application process. To apply online, please follow these steps:
Login to WIReD (www.hvcc.edu/wired).
Click on “Enrollment, Financial Aid, Student Accounts and Student Services” tab.
Click on “Financial Aid” link.
Click on “Foundation Scholarships.”
Before applying, please note and keep in mind the following:
1) Many scholarships require submission of the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA). Please be sure your FAFSA is on file before applying for scholarships.
2) The application process requires one 250-word essay describing your educational and vocational objectives. This essay is used for all scholarships for which you apply – there is no need to write separate essays for each scholarship. Some scholarships require a second essay; if so, you will be prompted during the application process.
3) Please apply for all scholarships that are listed for you even if a secondary message screen indicates you may not be eligible for that particular scholarship. You must apply for each and every scholarship that is presented to you.
