Last Chance to Register for Fall Courses Begins Today

 

In-person registration – the last chance to register for daytime on-campus classes before the start of the Fall 2011 semester – will begin Monday, Aug. 22 and runs through Saturday, Aug. 27 at Hudson Valley Community College. In-person registration takes place at the Guenther Enrollment Services Center on the Troy campus.

On-campus daytime classes begin Monday, Aug. 29.

While on campus, students can apply for admission and financial aid; submit immunization records; schedule classes if they are not enrolled in a degree program; pay their bill; receive parking decals; and obtain their college ID card.

The hours for in-person registration are:

8 a.m. to 6 p.m., Monday, Aug. 22 through Thursday, Aug. 25
8 a.m. to 5 p.m., Friday, Aug. 26
9 a.m. to noon, Saturday, Aug. 27

If prospective students did not attend Hudson Valley in the Spring 2011 semester, they should bring a Certificate of Residence to in-person registration. Immunization records also are required for students planning to take six or more credit hours.

Students hoping to be accepted into a degree or certificate program through Hudson Valley’s Admissions office should bring their high school transcripts, as well as transcripts from any other colleges they attended.

Those interested in registering for on-campus evening classes may continue registering through Sept. 2. On-campus evening classes begin Tuesday, Sept. 6.

Those interested in registering for off-campus classes may continue registering through Sept. 9. Off-campus classes begin Monday, Sept. 12.
