Sunday morning, June 2, four members of the HVCC staff teamed up with Moscatiello’s Italian Restaurant to ride in the Tour de Cure in Saratoga Springs. The Tour de Cure is a bicycle ride put on every year as a fundraiser for those struggling with Diabetes.
This year Team Moscatiello’s raised over $8,300 — including some generous donations from the HVCC family — for the American Diabetes Association. Together the HVCC riders, John Heiser, Eric Kiel, Roger Pinke and Scott Freedman rode 175 miles. John, Eric and Roger each rode 50 miles and Scott brought up the rear with 25.. ahem… .
All in all, it was a great day to ride with fellow HVCC staff members and local business folks to support this worthy cause.
