It is time to start the process of selecting our Chancellor Award candidates for next year.
The State University Chancellor’s Award for Excellence is one of the highest honors presented by the SUNY system. This award is intended to recognize individuals who exemplify excellence in one of six areas: Teaching, Faculty Service, Professional Service (non-teaching professionals), Classified Staff, Librarianship or Scholarship and Creative Activities. As a SUNY college, Hudson Valley Community College may submit candidates for each category. The college’s Chancellor’s Award Committees are now seeking nominations for the 2013 – 2014 awards. Students, faculty and staff are encouraged to submit nominations.
It is a tremendous honor to receive this recognition. The committee is seeking qualified nominations of worthy candidates who have demonstrated, over a sustained period of time, attributes such as enthusiasm, dedication, scholarship, availability to students, innovation and other qualities that together constitute excellence. Return nominations by June 19, 2013 to Don Frament, LAC. Nominators will be called upon to assist the committee in preparing the nominee’s folder. If you have any questions please contact Don Frament at x7569 or by e-mail at d.frament@hvcc.edu.
Nomination forms can be requested from Don Frament or by going to the links below. These are new forms this year.
