What: Wrestling with WIReD
When: TODAY, Sept. 13 at Noon
Where: BTC 1033 (CET Computer Lab)
Very often, it seems that Hudson Valley Community College veterans almost take for granted all that there is to know in order to function day-to-day on campus. WIReD (Web Information and Registration Direct), the Web-based system that gives Hudson Valley Community College faculty and students access to records and the registration process can be daunting to HVCC newcomers.
Join Tony Podlaski as he demystifies the WIReD system for those who are new or even for those who’ve been around a while, but who haven’t had much time to delve into the system. Tony will demonstrate what’s available on WIReD for students, for faculty and staff, and even for potential students.
Tony also will discuss grade entry, how to e-mail your class and how to view all classes, etc.
Don’t let WIReD throw you!
No registration needed. Come join us for an informative and interesting session that will make your teaching life just a little bit easier.
