Bear Tag, Bird on flower branch and dancing girl are tags to be taught for quilling class

We will be working on three simple tags (please see pictures above). We will have two hours to create one bear tag, another tag of bird on flower branch and one a dancing girl. Hopefully we will accomplish all three since they are simple. But if we do not get the chance to finish or create one of the items I will give paper instructions to take home.

I create a kit for each student to take home with the package of quilling paper, quilling tool, instructions for each project, write up on the history of quilling, evaluation sheet to fill out to let me know what you would like to do for future projects and my business card.

My style of teaching: I sit down and walk you through every step for the projects from beginning to end. I create the same piece as the student in front of them while they are creating so no one is on their own or will get lost. If you get stuck or confused, I will help you through every step of the way.

What is quilling? Quilling or paper filigree is an art form that involves the use of strips of paper that are rolled, shaped and glued together to create decorative designs. The paper is wound around a quilling tool to create a basic coil shape. The paper is then glued at the tip and these shaped coils are arranged to form flowers, leaves, and various ornamental patterns similar to ironwork.
