Nominations due Monday for first-ever SUNY Chancellor’s Award for Excellence in Adjunct Teaching

 

SUNY System Administration has announced a new Chancellor’s Award for Excellence in Adjunct Teaching.

The Chancellor’s Office has announced a new award for excellence in teaching for adjunct instructors. This award process is designed to recognize the excellence of adjunct faculty, who have served the college for a five year period prior to the nomination and is currently teaching. Nominees should have taught at least 15 classes in that time period. The emphasis is on excellence in teaching, evaluation, use of relevant contemporary data from their discipline, and different teaching techniques employed.

The Chancellor’s Award committee is seeking your help in determining adjunct faculty who meet the criteria and you think should be recognized for the excellent job they have done.
