The women’s volleyball team (3-18) defeated Mohawk Valley Community College (25-23, 25-22, 16-25, 12-25, 15-7), but lost to Fulton-Montgomery Community College (17-25, 6-25, 15-25) and Herkimer County Community College (10-25, 6-25, 15-25) on Saturday afternoon at the Adirondack Invitational.
Amber Gass (Ballston Spa/Ballston Spa) led the Vikings with 16 kills, 12 assists, 26 digs and 17 aces. Emily Sherman (Cambridge/Cambridge) recorded eight assists and 31 digs, while Kerry Longendyke (Berne-Knox-Westerlo/East Berne) added 13 kills and two blocks.
