The hockey team (3-0-1) defeated Mohawk Valley Community College (0-2-1), 9-1, on Tuesday evening.
James Murphy (Comsewogue, Port Jefferson Station) collected his second hat-trick of the season, and Matt Wagner (LaSalle Institute/Clifton Park) added two more. Mike Fay (Sachem East/Farmingville) recorded 11 saves in goal to record his second victory of the season.
The Vikings host Monroe on Saturday at 7 p.m. and again on Sunday at 1 p.m.
