| Provide excellent customer service while conveying vision benefit information, fulfilling requests and acting as a liaison with internal and external Davis Vision business partners for customer encounters. |
| Essential Responsibilities: |
| 1) Access and function with proficiency through proprietary administration systems in order to respond to customer inquiries and requests in accordance with customer service responsibilities (ex. Knowledge of in/out of network co-pays, non plan allowances/retail value as well as the various network relationships),2) Access the Interactive Voice Response unit (IVR) to assist with customer inquiries.
3) Understand required actions when unique eligibility circumstances exist (member not on file, , member termed and/or split benefits etc.) 4) Act as a liaison coordinating efforts between, member, provider and the labs. 5) Possess knowledge of and ability to perform requirements relative to specialty services (student proof, prior approval, medically necessary contacts, special voucher/authorization processing, and requesting enrollment cards). 6) Mentor perspective associates and new associates during initial instruction. This involves providing feedback to the hiring management team and trainer. 7) Knowledge of appropriate routing of calls throughout the organization, provider network and business partners, to facilitate equitable customer resolutions. 8) Understanding of how Davis Vision handles out-of-network processing, being able to articulate and assist the customer to determine an equitable resolution. 9) Maintain individual KPI’s at acceptable departmental levels 10) Adhere to privacy and confidential and proprietary company policies and procedures (i.e. HIPAA). 11) Participate in any/all training and educational activities necessary to fulfill at least the minimum requirements as specified within your departmental goals. This is in addition to, the completion of any activities necessary for the maintenance of professional affiliations or organizational requirements. |
