The men’s basketball team (4-3) defeated Corning Community College (4-7), 86-69, on Sunday afternoon.
Hudson Valley head coach Mike Long has now hit the 400 win milestone in his head coaching career. The Vikings jumped out to an early 24-point lead in the first half and never looked back. A pair of dunks by Casey Hall (Shaker/Albany) and Devonte Gleason (Watervliet/Watervliet) sparked the offense early in the half. Hall scored 26 points for the second consecutive game, and Matt Walker (Benjamin Banneker/Brooklyn) came off the bench to add another 20.
The Vikings travel to TC3 Saturday to close out the semester.
