A friend of mine makes beautiful, fleece-lined mittens out of recycled wool sweaters for women, men and children. At the Saratoga Holiday Craft Show this year, she sold approximately $3,100 worth of mittens which is the reason for my request.
Bev is asking for your donation of recycled wool sweaters (100% wool or wool blend) to enable her to make additional mittens.
If anyone is interested, please drop off the sweaters in my office no later than Monday, Jan. 20, 2014. My office is room 201 in the Admissions Suite on the second floor of the Guenther Enrollment Services Center.
