The American Red Cross blood supply has been significantly disrupted due to the recent disasters and flooding that came on the heels of the low donor turnout during the summer. At this time, the community blood supply of O negative, A negative and B positive are at the critical level.
Come roll your sleeve up and help hospital patients in need. We need donors NOW! Thousands of blood donations are needed each and every day to meet the needs of accident victims, cancer patients and children with blood disorders. We need all donors to come in to donate blood as soon as possible to help stabilize the blood supply.
There will be a Blood Drive at TEC-SMART Facility on Thursday, Oct. 6 from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. The address is 345 Hermes Road in Malta.
