Thanks to the efforts of several staff members, the Hannaford Supermarket in East Greenbush again donated a substantial amount of food on Thursday to re-stock the college’s food pantry.
Eight boxes, and approximately 240 items – from rice and cereal to spaghetti sauces – were donated. Liberal Arts Program Assistant Sherry Best and her husband, Jim, unloaded and stocked the goods, along with student Stephen Stewart, who volunteered his help while waiting for his academic advisement appointment! The food pantry is located in the Student Activities Office.
